Pineapple Frose

·

It's still cold here in the Northeast, but I've decided to forget about it. So naturally I'm on to frozen summer drinks. I recently ran a poll on my Instagram stories to ask for my followers' favorite fruit. And pineapple came up over and over again. So why not take the frose, such a popular frozen drink, and make it pineapple? Exactly!

This pineapple frose is perfectly sweet and not too alcohol-y. But it also isn’t a fruity drink with no taste of alcohol—because those just don’t taste good. It strikes the right balance between both tastes. I’ve made it many times, and I like to drink it right out of the blender. The texture is quite drinkable. I’ve frozen it, too, and freezing it for at least an hour yields a more icy consistency—your choice, of course, of which you prefer! But I wanted to develop a simple recipe that didn’t require freezing, so you could throw it together when your guests come over!

The only necessary tool for this recipe is a high-speed blender. Enjoy, and leave a comment below if you try it! Or tag me on Instagram if you post it!
